Watch: Man drives SUV through wall of Salem bar

A Salem man drives his vehicle through the wall of the Triangle Inn in Salem early Wednesday morning.

SALEM, Ore. -- A man was arrested after driving his car through the wall of a bar early Wednesday morning in Salem.

The suspect, 29-year-old Daniel Leonard Wise, left the Triangle Inn at 3215 Liberty Road S at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. Moments later, he drove a compact SUV through the wall of the bar.

Wise was uninjured but had to helped out of the car. He was taken into custody at the scene and faces multiple charges, including DUII, reckless driving, eight counts of recklessly endangering another person, first-degree criminal mischief and failure to perform the duties of a driver involved in an injury accident, a felony.

One person inside the bar suffered minor injuries. He was treated at the hospital and released.
