Nine Displaced by Four-Plex Fire

PORTLAND, Ore. – Fire ripped through a four-plex of homes in the 5600 block of Southeast 123rd Avenue early Friday morning.

Nobody was hurt but nine residents and several pets have been displaced.

Firefighters were called out at 4:15 a.m. for the fire.  Crews were able to knock down the flames but not before part of a roof collapsed.  Fire damaged at least one unit, and the others sustained heavy smoke damage.
