3 arrested in poaching of 2 bull elk

ELGIN, Ore. (AP) - Oregon State Police say they have identified three suspects in the illegal killing of two bull elk in Union County earlier this month.

Nathan Crouch, of Elgin, Oregon, remains at large and is wanted for unlawful taking of a bull elk, hunting on enclosed lands belonging to another person, waste of an animal and other hunting-related offenses.

During the investigation, authorities say they learned the 26-year-old also illegally killed a bull elk several years ago.

Investigators seized the antlers and Crouch will be charged with unlawful possession of the antlers.

Twenty-two-year-old Dylan Crouch and 18-year-old Brianna Black, also both of Elgin, have been arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of aiding in a game violation.

The bull elk were found dead on Nov. 16 near Elgin.
