LONGVIEW, Wash. -- Two small dogs trapped in a sinking boat house along the Columbia River were rescued by divers from the Cowlitz Drive Rescue team on Tuesday.

The two dogs were not injured.

The Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office received a call at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday reporting that a boat house had collapsed. The owner of the home, located in the 6400 block of Willow Grove Road about four miles west of Longview, was not present, but the caller said two dogs were trapped inside the home.
