WOODBURN -- The woman whose body was found along Interstate 5 near Woodburn Friday has been identified as 25-year-old Tara Elizabeth Gordon, of Redding, California.
Police found her body after receiving numerous reports early Friday morning of a possible body near the shoulder of the northbound lanes of I-5, at milepost 273, according to Oregon State Police Lt. Gregg Hastings.

An autopsy found that the cause of her death was head trauma, Hastings said. OSP detectives were investigating.
The woman was positively identified late Friday night, after a tip came in from another law enforcement agency, Hastings said.
