PORTLAND -- An assailant pistol whipped a woman and stole her purse in Northeast Portland's Irvington neighborhood Friday night, police said.
A 29-year-old woman was attacked shortly after 7:30 p.m. by a 30-year-old bald white man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt near Northeast 11th Avenue and Northeast Siskiyou Street, police said.
Police arrested Nathan Mosley in connection with the robbery. He is facing charges of robbery, assault and felon in possession of a firearm.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau
