PORTLAND -- Police Thursday morning released a composite sketch of the suspect in an attack Saturday evening on the Portland State University campus.

The Campus Public Safety Office sent out an alert to staff and students that the woman was on the second floor of Neuberger Hall shortly after 8 p.m. when attacked.

The man grabbed her from behind, held her, then stole her cell phone. He fled toward Hall Street. The victim was not hurt.

The suspect was described as a white man in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall and 170 to 180 pounds, with short brown hair, wearing a gray hoodie and black jeans.

Anyone with information was asked to call campus police at (503) 725-4404. Get updates at the PSU Public Safety website.

There have been several other safety alerts in recent weeks on campus for a man entering buildings where he did not belong. More: PSU Public Safety warnings

Last November, a woman reported a sexual assault while walking back to campus. In February, a woman reported being assaulted outside the Maseeh College of Engineering building.
