PORTLAND – A woman was struck by a car while she was walking in Southwest Portland Thursday morning, police said.
The woman was taken to the hospital with traumatic injuries after she was hit in the 9600 block of Southwest Barbur Boulevard at 8:14 a.m., said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police did not release the condition of the woman.
Lanes of Barbur Boulevard were reopened Thursday morning.
