FOREST GROVE, Ore. – A woman found dead in a Forest Grove apartment Monday morning was not the victim of homicidal violence, an autopsy concluded.
Someone had called to ask police for a "welfare check" at the apartment in the 2500 block of 21st Avenue around 10 a.m.
Officers found a woman dead inside the apartment. Investigators have not released any details.
An autopsy concluded there were no obvious signs of trauma, and the cause of death could be the natural progression of a disease or another issue, according to Dr. Karen Gunson.
