CLE ELLUM, Wash. -- Some good weather over weekend helped firefighters gain ground on the Taylor Bridge wildfire in central Washington.

Concerns about possible lightning storms never materialized.

The fire was about 47 percent contained by early Monday morning and crews hoped to have it completely surrounded by Monday night.
