HILLSBORO -- A Washington County man was arrested Tuesday afternoon following an investigation into reports that he may have downloaded child porn.
Police served search warrant served at the Cornell Woods Apartments, 14674 NW Cornell Road, Unit 28, and arrested Timothy Dale Bach, 38. He was accused of 20 counts of first and second-degree encouraging sex abuse.
Before the bust, investigators said they learned that Bach has reportedly downloaded thousands of images of child porn. They took 20 computers and an additional 20 hard drives from his apartment.
Police also said his MySpace page included images of children, some with him posing with them. He may have taken those photos without the consent of parents.
There is no evidence to suggest he was producing the child porn he had accumulated.
