VANCOUVER -- A woman returning home early Saturday morning spotted a burglar inside her house.

The victim called 9-1-1 about 12:40 a.m. when she saw a man inside her kitchen in the 6000 block of NE 105th Avenue, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

She stayed outside and continued to give dispatchers information about the burglar's movements.

The suspect was taken into custody several blocks from home. He was carrying, and wearing, some of the victim's property, police said.

Jaycen C. Ness, 38, who last listed an address at 11500 NE 76th St., was booked on accusations of residential burglary, second-degree theft and a prior district court warrant.
