PORTLAND – The Oregon Humane Society has launched a live Internet play room that provides some unique entertainment, with the hope of luring in more new homes for cats.
People can log onto the play room and watch cats and kittens chase toys. But it gets even better – fans can also use their own computer mouse to control the toys that the cats are chasing.
“It's amazing, it's addictive. Some cats are so into it that you just want to play with them all day and you have to tear yourself away from the screen,” said David Lytle with OHS.
The iPet companion, as it’s called, was created with help from a company called Apriori LLC.
