PORTLAND -- One man was in critical condition and another was in serious condition after a shooting outside a Southeast Portland bar early Sunday morning, police said.

Just after 2 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the 9200 block of SE Foster Road on the report of a shooting, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau.

Responding officers found 24-year-old Elijah Thomas and 24-year-old Deandra Harris suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to nearby hospitals, where Harris was last reported in critical condition and Thomas was listed in serious condition.

Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, Simpson said Sunday afternoon.

They were shot in the parking lot of the New Copper Penny Restaurant and Nightclub. The Gang Enforcement Team was investigating.

Detectives said several people may have witnessed the shooting but did not talk to officers. There was no suspect information.

Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. www.crimestoppersoforegon.com
