NEWBERG, Ore. --Two men from Washington were found dead  in a upside-down submerged car on Haugen Road Sunday, authorities said.

Sheriff's Deputies were searching for 23-year-old Solomon Davis and 24-year-old Michael Randall who were last seen leaving a house in a vehicle in the early hours of Saturday morning, said Capt. Tim Svenson with the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies located the crashed vehicle Sunday and called the Newberg Fire Department's dive rescue team. Rescuers found the two men deceased inside the vehicle, Svenson said.

Authorities did not know what caused the vehicle to crash and were investigating.
