MCMINNVILLE, Ore. -- There's never a good time to have your truck catch fire -- but there may be a right place.
Early Friday morning in McMinnville, a driver noticed smoke in the cab of his 1987 F-250.
He pulled into the fire station and enlisted the help of a firefighter who was washing a truck. After opening the hood flames and smoke poured from the engine block.
Crews blame an electrical malfunction involving the fan. The truck is likely a total loss. No injuries were reported.
