PORTLAND – Two people were seriously injured when a car and pickup truck crashed head-on along North Marine Drive Monday.
Heath Martin, 21, had been driving the car. He was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the truck, later identified as Shawn Kelly, 49, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Investigators said one of the drivers had veered into oncoming traffic, causing the crash. They have not yet said which driver that was.
N. Marine Drive was closed near North Leadbetter while authorities investigated the accident.
