PORTLAND -- People have bought more than 30,000 tickets using TriMet's new mobile app, but some users are accidentally deleting their tickets, the agency announced Monday.
TriMet released a guide Monday to help people avoid losing tickets and passes stored on their phones.
When the app is deleted and reinstalled, existing tickets are also deleted, said spokeswoman Roberta Altstadt. Users who install pre-release or beta operating systems on their phones will also lose their tickets.
In order to avoid losing tickets, users can register and store the purchased tickets here, Altstadt said.
So far, ten people have filed formal complaints about the TriMet app and it's been downloaded more than 20,000 times.
