PORTLAND, Ore -- The MAX and power lines at 1st and NW Davis were taken out by a falling tree branch Monday evening.

The blocked MAX line caused disruption on Blue and Red lines through downtown, with no MAX service between SW 3rd and Morrison and the Rose Quarter. Shuttle buses were rolled out to service customers between those two points.

There's no estimate on when the line with be repaired and the tree removed. Tri Met supervisors on scene say it could be several hours before repairs are completed.
