MOLALLA, Ore. – Two teens were hurt, one seriously, in a crash Saturday evening in Molalla, police said.

Just before 8 p.m., 18-year-old Sarah Musgrove from Molalla was hit by a semi while she was turning left in an SUV onto Highway 213, said Lt. Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police.

Musgrove was seriously injured and taken by Life Flight to OHSU. Her passenger, 16-year-old Lorene Dooley from Mulino, was taken in an ambulance to the hospital, Hastings said.

The truck’s driver, 29-year-old Andrew Rueckert from Kalama, Wash., was not hurt.

Oregon State Police were investigating the cause of the accident.
