THE DALLES -- A suspect in the Sept. 10 death of a man after a fight in a Fred Meyer parking lot turned himself into police Thursday.

Carlos Alberto Medina, 20, of The Dalles, was wanted in connection with the death of 20-year-old Mark Anthony Labonte, who died Sept. 10 at a Portland hospital from injuries suffered during a fight the day before.

An autopsy showed the cause of death  to be blunt force trauma to the head, according to Wasco County District Attorney Eric Nisley.
