The reported sale of Portland's Stumptown Coffee roasters has been the topic of rumors and speculation for days.
While Stumptown isn't talking, everyone else is.
Willamette Week reports the 12-year-old company will be part of a large investment portfolio owned by a New York firm.
For weeks, blogs and rumors have been brewing about the sale of Stumptown, but so far there has been little information perculating from the company's CEO Duane Sorenson, who has denied the sale to the Oregonian and the New York Times.
KGW's calls to the company have not been returned.
But Willamette Week now reports a coffee insider confirms TSG Partners owns 90 percent of the company.
