WASHOUGAL, Wash. – Police have released a sketch of the suspect in a Washougal home invasion case in which a woman was bound with duct tape earlier this month.

Officers said the victim was alone at her home in the 3200 block of 37th Court when a man rang her doorbell and asked if she had seen his lost dog.

A second man knocked her down, restrained her with duct tape and dragged her by the hair into another room, investigators said. She realized her phone wasn't working and ran next door and asked her neighbor to call 911.

Police did not confirm what the men stole, but said the motive appeared to be theft.

One of the suspects was described as white, clean cut, in his late teens or early 20s. The other was wearing a hood and possibly a face mask. Both spoke with Eastern European accents, possibly Russian, the victim said.

Anyone with information was asked to call detectives at (360) 835-8701.
