PORTLAND - Resorts on Mount Hood reported between 3 and 6 inches of new snow by Saturday.

KGW Meteorologist Nick Allard said the snow level was around 3,000 feet.
With temperatures in the upper 40s to 50 degrees, showers remained in the forecast for Portland, but most may stay to our north, Allard said.
A chance of rain continues Saturday, but Sunday looks dry with partly cloudy skies, he said.
