TUALATIN, Ore. – A semi-truck packed with huge metal pipes crashed and rolled along Interstate 205 in Tualatin Tuesday morning, spilling its load on the side of the freeway.

The driver, identified as Kenneth Harvey, Jr., 35, of Springfield, was cited for failure to drive within a lane, according to Lt. Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police.

The truck overturned on the Interstate 5 southbound ramp that connects to I-205 northbound just before 8:30 a.m.

Harvey was not seriously injured and no other vehicles were involved in the crash, Hastings said.

Traffic was delayed through the area for three hours as crews worked to move all the pipes out of the way and get the trailer upright again.

Harvey had been driving for George Van Dyke Trucking.
