MT. HOOD -- Three snowboarders who went missing after getting lost on the east side of Skibowl have been brought to safety by rescue crews.
Clackamas County searchers were looking Wednesday afternoon for the men, who took the chair lift to the top of the Mt. Hood ski resort and then snowboarded out of bounds.
Dispatchers said the men in their 20s were in cell contact with rescuers after they became lost. Crews were able to get them back to safety near Trillium Lake at around 7 p.m., and no one was injured in the incident.
Clackamas Co. Search & Rescue crews were assisted by Pacific Northwest Search & Rescue and Mountain Wave Communications.
