VANCOUVER – Two rape suspects were arrested after the SWAT team showed up at a Vancouver home Thursday.
Just before 9 p.m., Sergio Leon, 21, and Aaron Blair Davey, 24, were arrested at 3116 NE 78th Avenue in Vancouver. Police also recovered a handgun and a large quantity of marijuana from the home, said Kim Kapp with the Vancouver Police Department.
Leon and Davey both face felony charges of first-degree rape and unlawful imprisonment. The victim reported the crime Thursday and police found evidence that corroborated her story at the home, court documents show.
According to the documents, Leon lives with his 1-year-old child and quit his job at Burger King two weeks ago. He has a prior juvenile criminal record of assault by strangulation and residential burglary.
Documents also show Davey is an employee at a Vancouver Goodwill and lives with his mother.
Bail was set at $250,000 for each defendant.
