PORTLAND – Police sent out the Special Emergency Reaction Team to a home on Northeast 82nd Avenue after they heard there may be men armed with guns in the house early Saturday, police said.
Traffic was closed in all directions at Northeast 82nd Avenue and Northeast Prescott Street starting around 2:45 a.m. while officers worked to solve the situation peacefully, Sgt. Pete Simpson said.
Robbery detectives arrested Frank Williams, 24 (left), Anthony Carrillo, 21(center), and Gilbert Curion, 24 (right), and charged them with attempted aggravated murder, assault, burglary and kidnapping in what appeared to be a home invasion robbery.
Police said they found 17 people in and around the house and one victim was taken to the hospital with injuries he suffered during the robbery. They believe the incident may be drug related.
