PORTLAND – An employee who was allegedly robbed at knifepoint at a Southeast Portland video poker store Wednesday said she bit the suspect in the arm.

The employee told police that Jamie Musgrove, 32, entered Johnny’s at 8230 SE Harrison St. just before noon armed with a knife, said Sgt. Pete Simpson of Portland police.

The victim said Musgrove grabbed money out of the register and, during a struggle, she bit Musgrove in the arm.

Musgrove ran out of the store but officers located her after a search of the area, Simpson said. She was charged with first-degree robbery and taken to the Multnomah County Jail.
