BZ CORNERS, Wash -- Rescuers responded to the White Salmon River Wednesday after a call about a paddler in the river in trouble.
The rescue attempt was not believed to be successful, according to Klickitat County dispatchers. Units were still on scene at late Wednesday night.
The emergency was reported on the White Salmon river just north of BZ Corners, about 13 miles north of Hood River, according to Klickitat County dispatchers.
No further details have been released.
