SALEM – A Portland man will get 25 payments of $58,960 after claiming his $2.2 million Megabucks℠ jackpot.

Larry Sheller’s ticket matched all six numbers in the July 11, drawing. It was purchased at 7-Eleven #17335, on 122nd Avenue in Southeast Portland for just $2.

Sheller decided to present his winning ticket at the Lottery office, and then seek financial planning advice before completing the claim process for his prize. He eventually chose the annuity payment plan, and received his first payment in the amount of $58,960 after state and federal taxes were withheld.

Sheller, the seventh Megabucks jackpot winner in 2012, became the Oregon Lottery®’s 235th Megabucks millionaire.
