PORTLAND -- Portland has seen its warmest day of the year so far, said KGW Meteorologist Nick Allard.
The high topped out just short of 80 at 78 degrees.
"The warmest temp of the year so far is 77 degrees, which happened Thursday and over Easter weekend," Allard said Friday morning.
He said the weekend won't be quite as warm, but should be mostly dry.
"We should still see partly sunny to mostly sunny skies inland, but more clouds and possibly some drizzle at the coast," Allard said. "Then on Sunday everyone will see the low clouds and cooler temps with highs in the mid-60s."
Next week appeared to be even warmer, with highs in the low 80s, KGW Chief Meteorologist Matt Zaffino said.
