VANCOUVER -- A couple was robbed at gunpoint in a Safeway parking lot April 30th and police need help finding the two suspects.
The couple was in their car at the store at 3707 Main Street when two men got into the back seat about 9:40 p.m., police said.
"The back doors opened at the same time, and I think, my first thought was, somebody was getting into the wrong car," the woman told KGW.
Both suspects brandished handguns and stole the woman's purse.
"I didn't have any fear in me," the woman's boyfriend told KGW, "until the gun was against my head. Then my heart starting racing."
One of the men left a water bottle on the hood of the car, which might help with DNA evidence.
Police released images of the men Tuesday that were taken by surveillance cameras.
Anyone with information was asked to contact detective Lawrence Zapata with the Vancouver Police Department at (360) 487-7420.
