PORTLAND – Police were investigating a possible adult abuse case at a foster care home in Portland Friday afternoon, authorities said.
Shortly after 4 p.m., officers learned that medical personnel from Providence Medical Center took a woman in her 20s from an adult foster care residence in the 12900 block of Southeast Mitchell Street, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.
After taking her to the hospital, medics called police after observing injuries of an unknown origin, Simpson said.
