GRESHAM – Police in Gresham arrested the third of a trio of robbery suspects after he tried to ram officers with his car Monday night, investigators said.

On Monday, officers planned on arresting Lashawn Peterson after he left his apartment in the 1500 block of SE 122nd.

After trying to stop his car near 157th and SE Stark, Peterson rammed a police car and fled, eventually crashing near 162nd and Burnside.

Police arrested him trying to flee on foot. No one was hurt. Two people, Alexander J. Lewis and Jaquina S. Anderson, both 21, were arrested last week for a robbery at the Rodeway Inn on NE 181st, Gresham.

Detectives said the suspects forced their way into the victim’s room while armed, then hit the person with the gun.
