PORTLAND -- A 25-year-old man hit by a vehicle Friday remains in critical condition at a Portland hospital.
The man was struck by a silver Dodge SUV while he was on a marked crosswalk at Southeast Division Street and 156th Avenue, police said.
Officers at the scene found a man suffering from traumatic injuries, said Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson. The man was taken to a nearby hospital.
The 49-year-old driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, Simpson said.
Police reported that neither the driver or the person struck was impared by drugs or alcohol.
No one was cited or arrest as of Friday afternoon.
