BEAVERTON, Ore. -- A man was cut from an SUV after a crash on Southwest Schools Ferry Road Monday.

A 911 caller reported just before 6:30 a.m. that the SUV and a pickup truck had crashed at Tile Flat Road, according to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.

Both vehicles were heavily damaged and each had one person inside.

The SUV was stabilized and the roof was cut off so crews could remove the occupant.

Both people were taken by ambulance to nearby hospitals with injuries not considered life-threatening, TVF&R reported.
