PORTLAND – About 1,400 Portland customers were without power for a couple hours Tuesday night after an equipment failure, according to Portland General Electric.
The outage began at around 6:30 p.m. and affected customers in inner-Southeast and Downtown Portland. The problem originated at a substation near the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
Traffic signals were out in the area and TriMet announced that all MAX lines and some bus lines were affected by the outage.
The power was restored by 8:50 p.m.
