PORTLAND -- The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is stopping in Oregon.
As part of its cross-country journeys, the meat wagon will be at three Portland-area Fred Meyer stores over the weekend.
Friday, 3/1 Fred Meyer 6495 SE Tualatin Valley Highway, Hillsboro 11 – 4 p.m.
Saturday, 3/2 Fred Meyer 15995 SW Walker Road, Beaverton, OR 97006 11 - 4 p.m.
Sunday, 3/3 Fred Meyer 800 NE Tenney Road, Vancouver, WA 98685 11 - 4 p.m.
Last year, the Humane Society of the United States applauded Oscar Mayer, which is owned by Kraft, for their efforts to begin eliminating pig gestation crates from their pork suppliers.
