ALOHA, Ore -- One person died after an argument escalated into gunfire in Aloha Tuesday night, police said.
Police identified the victim as a 24-year-old Forest Alig.
The shooting occurred about 8 p.m. near SW 183rd and Rosa Road, according to Sgt. Bob Ray of the Washington County sheriff's office.
Ray said a 41-year-old person was detained. No other suspects were being sought.
Police said the victim and suspect appear to be strangers.
A man jogging in the area told KGW he heard two shots fired.
