PORTLAND – Heavy rains were on and off around Portland Wednesday afternoon.
KGW Meteorologist Nick Allard said there was the possibility of thunderstorms and snow in the mountains.
In a 24-hour period, Portland had .89 inches of rain at 4 p.m., according to KGW Chief Meteorologist Matt Zaffino.
Rain overnight in Portland totaled almost a half-inch.Since midnight, Allard said the total was .35.
Showers were expected through Friday, but the weekend looks mainly dry, Allard said.
