Naked cyclists ride through Portland

PORTLAND – Thousands of bicyclists hit the streets of downtown Portland for the annual naked bike ride Saturday night.

About 8,000 cyclists rode through town without their clothing. Organized said the event shows the vulnerability that cyclists have the road when they ride alongside cars.

Portland is one of 170 cities worldwide that takes part in the annual event.
