ROSEBURG, Ore. -- After two high speed chases, Oregon troopers and Sutherlin Police finally got their man, at his house in Roseburg.
Just before 11 a.m. Saturday a trooper spotted Alen Brock driving his motorcycle at 83 mph on Interstate 5, according to Oregon State Police. The trooper tried to stop Brock, but he took off at speeds estimated over 100 mph.
The trooper took down Brock's license number and OSP stopped the pursuit. But the Sutherlin Police soon spotted Brock and attempted to pull him over. Again he sped away and that pursuit was terminated.
Later in the afternoon OSP troopers went to the registered owner’s address and found Brock there. After an interview, he was arrested and charged with eluding police, reckless driving and recklessly endangering a minor. He was also charged with speeding, at 107 mph in a 55 mph zone.
A 14-year-old girl who had been a passenger on the motorcycle ride was questioned and released to her parents.
