BEAVERTON, Ore. -- A former Beaverton foster home operator, already in prison for sex abuse, now faces charges connected to additional victims.

James Coonrod, 63, ran a foster care home at 17371 SW Hurrell Lane in Beaverton. He and his wife took in dozens of children from 1994 through 2009, according to Sgt. Bob Ray of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

In October, 2010 Coonrod was charged with sexually abusing two victims inside the home. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

Detectives recently learned there could be four more victims, who ranged in age from four to eight years old when the alleged abuse took place, Ray said.

Police also believe there could be more victims who have not come forward. Detectives asked anyone with information to call WCSO at (503) 846-2500.
