TROUTDALE -- Two teens were arrested Monday morning after a burglary at Reynolds High, and a mother suspicious of her son and a friend sneaking back into their home.
Police were dispatched about 2 a.m. to the school on a report of a burglary in progress, according to Troutdale police. A neighbor heard glass breaking and saw someone go in through a broken window.
Police surrounded the school. A K9 dog could find nothing.
Several hours earlier, a mother had called police about her missing son. Later, she saw police heading for the high school and noticed her son and a friend sneaking back into the home. She called police a second time.
Officers interviewed the two boys and arrested them in connection with the Reynolds burglary. A third teen was still being sought.
