VANCOUVER -- Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left one man injured early Thursday morning.
The 25-year-old victim called police himself, and said he'd been shot. He was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for a gunshot wound to his upper left arm.
He told investigators the drive-by shooting occurred in the 3500 block of East Fourth Plain Boulevard around 2 a.m., according to Kim Kapp, a spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department. Kapp said the man was not cooperative when police questioned him further.
Police searched the area of the alleged shooting and did not find evidence of a shooting, Kapp said.
The investigation continues.
