PORTLAND – A man was stabbed and then mysteriously dropped off at a Portland hospital Sunday morning. Now police are trying to find out who killed him.
The man arrived by private car at Adventist Medical Center just after 9 a.m. and was suffering from a stab wound.
Medical staff tried to help him, but he could not be saved, police said.
The victim was later identified as 44-year-old Victor Todd Howell and detectives said they think he was stabbed at 14630 Southeast Caruthers Street. They served a warrant to search the area Monday.
Anyone who has information about the stabbing was asked to contact the police non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.
