WOODBURN, Ore. -- A Woodburn man was taken to the hospital after being shot on an Interstate 5 overpass Saturday night, police said.

At around 7 p.m., on the overpass near the Woodburn Company Stores, 37-year-old Lejeune Bryant was shot multiple times during an altercation that started after a minor car crash.

Police said Bryant was taken to the hospital without life-threatening injuries.

Police then detained 31-year-old Carey Ethan, of Tigard, at the scene without incident. Ethan was also taken to the hospital.

No arrests had been made.
