PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A measure to continue allocating Oregon Lottery money for salmon habitat and parks is headed for the November ballot.
Secretary of State Kate Brown said Wednesday that petitions for the constitutional measure had about 6,000 more valid signatures than required.
The measure would make permanent a 15 percent share of the lottery's proceeds for salmon and parks.
That completes the lineup of statewide measures for Oregon's November ballot. There will be seven.
Others would allow annual sessions of the Legislature, toughen penalties for repeat rapists and drunken drivers, and allow medical marijuana dispensaries.
