PORTLAND – The third season of IFC hit “Portlandia” opened Friday with a special local actress: West Linn fifth grader Calais Radcliff.
In her first TV roll, Radcliff got a chance to play the president of MTV.
The episode pits Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein against a resistant and much younger new MTV head.
“I felt like I was the king, like I’m ruling these 40-year-olds, like I’m the boss of you,” Calais joked.
The one day shoot happened back in September, so getting to see herself on TV has been a long wait.
But now Calais is already on a first name basis with the show’s stars.
“Fred is really funny and Carrie is really sweet and they were really fun to be around,” she said.
